Saturday, July 6th

9:00AM to 6:00PM--Pick up your race packets, chips and race bags at our host Inn, the Waitsfield Inn.
The Inn is located within steps of the Race Start and during your visit we will be able to offer other
information to support your marathon.

The Mad Marathon EXPO opens at the Waitsfield Inn, 9AM, and continues throughout the day until 4PM.
A list of vendors will be added to this page closer to the event.

9:00AM to 1:00PM--Waitsfield Farmer's Market is a held in the Mad River Green...the site of the
Mad Marathon Start and Finish. You will find fresh produce, flowers, Vermont crafts, baked goods,
prepared food, cheese and other farm products. Live entertainment is provided by local musicians
and the morning offers you true "taste of Vermont" and the community.

5:30PM to 9:00PM--MAD CARBO

A variety of local restaurants, inns, B&B and pubs will host pasta/carbo dinners throughout the
Mad River Valley on Saturday night. These are our hosts of the Mad Carbo Party:

6:30PM - Kids Fun Run

Do you need an excuse for the ice cream? Certainly not if you are competing in the
Mad Marathon and Mad Half. But the kids... well, that's different! A short Kids Fun Run
will justify everything. Come and join us. Sign up from 5:30PM at Mad River Green
near our Finish Line.

*** 7:00PM to 9:00PM -- MUSIC and ICE CREAM! ***

Join the organizational crew, Mad River Valley residents and friends for ice cream and music by
Phineas Gage at the Gazebo by the Finish Line. Free icecream for kids and all runners.
Our Beer Garden at the Waitsfield Inn will also be open for business. A perfect way to finish your preparations.

Sleep well after your carbo and ice cream. Get ready for a great run...
